I have been meaning to email and thank you for
the lovely week we had on the island. We really
enjoyed it. The house was excellent and we were
lucky to have relatively good weather. We really
enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the afternoon.
My family from south Africa enjoyed the whole
experience immensely.
As a side note if you can get the resort to
allow golf buggies, it will make the logistics
of moving people a lot easier.
I have mentioned to my wife
that we should think about doing a family
reunion there. Either way I am sure you will
hear from us again in the future.

Our stay was fantastic, the house was perfect for
our group and of course the view was breathtaking. Our overseas visitors were
overwhelmed they had never been to an island like moreton before and they had an
absolutely fantastic time. We would deffinately stay in the house again,
thanks!!!!

needed. All have come home relaxed and speaking of

Both the houses were excellent. Everyone enjoyed the week,
and definately enjoyed the houses. They are both beautiful houses and we
thank you for allowing us to holiday in them.
The views are amazing.. The guys said that Jeff and his partner were also
wonderful neighbours!!!
I'm sure many of the crew will return in the future...

I am pleased to say that everyone was more then happy
with our time in the sunset mansion.
It was a beautiful house, the caretakers were more
then helpful with our enquiries and the beautiful sunset/sunrises
exceeded our expectations.
I personally was very surprised at how similar the
house was compared to the virtual tour online. We all had plenty of
space in the large bedrooms/lounges/verandahs.
It really was the perfect party house, exactly what we
were looking for.
Everything was perfect and some of us are already
planning on coming back – as life on the mainland will never be as good
as a few days of r & r over at Tangalooma.
I have certainly fell in love with the tropical
paradise over there and the serenity and welcoming ness of all the
locals and staff members down on the resort.
We may even have to make it an annual event – thank
you so much for your hospitality and allowing us to create our own
priceless memories of our time in the breath-taking Moreton Sunset
Mansion. Thanks also for your kindness and ease with making and
confirming our booking with you.

"The place is very well kept and gives a panaromic view of the
ocean. Being a little distance away from the resort gives the
exclusiveness to the stay. We love the place because all of us can
stay under one roof and enjoy the familiness. I would love to come

Moreton Mansion. The house is amazing, even better (and bigger!) than we
anticipated! With such a large group it was surprising to find places to

fantastic - all our guests were absolutely
blown away - the houses were everything I
had hoped for and more.
I would rate the
houses 15/10 - so spacious - clean - well
equipped - and the views were just stunning
- Moreton beats the hell out of the
Whitsunday's.

We all enjoyed it
so much that we are intending to come back in 2 yrs time (for our 2
yrly holiday get together) and to stay at least 8 nights, in
hopefully the same house.
Moreton Mansion was
perfect for the 2 families (next time there will be 3
families), Adults all loved the views & spaciousness of the house
and the pool table was a big hit & the big tv with DVDs supplied was
also appreciated. The house was very clean on arrival. We all loved
the island, though sometimes there was a little confusion at
tangalooma about what if we could use the resort facilitities like
other guests eg at archery they wanted to charge me because we were
in a house. We are all fitter due to the stairs up & down to
resort!!! any chance of a golf buggy coming with the house in 2yrs
time????
In summary had a
great & relaxing time

Thank you very much for your help with the houses.
Everything was great / perfect for our wedding. We changed the wedding
venue from the beach to the grass area outside the house and it was perfect
with the backdrop of Moreton Bay!
I had so many comments about the houses, so hopefully you
will get some bookings from our guests.

Spent an idyllic four days at Moreton Sunset...rained for a couple of days
but that made no difference as we were all really chilled out in a perfect
location. When the sun did come out the views alone made the trip worthwhile and
would be difficult to beat anywhere in the world. It was easy to see how the
house got its name.
The house itself is great for a group holiday and meant that we had lots
of space to do our own individual things whilst also having lots of communal
areas. We also had a couple of friends across for an evening and morning and the
house had plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Beach/beaches are great and
stretch for miles. Our five year old was in his element. Resort activities make
sure that you are never bored. Although there are plenty of eating places in the
resort itself, we took our own food and drink and enjoyed our own cooking and
company in the magnificent kitchen...this also meant we had a cost effective
holiday and ate what and when we liked.
Arrangements with Tangalooma Resort for ferry and transfers were very
efficient and worked like clockwork. From Island Dream Homes perspective Catrina,
Anthony and Sue gave our holiday, from booking to departure, a really human
touch.
Baby Jonah (the youngest member of staff?) was also there to welcome us when we
arrived.
All in all, a truly relaxing holiday in a little piece of paradise. Not
truly original but we WILL be back.

stunning accommodation. In addition, Jeff was
very accommodating and was kind enough to pick
us up from the MICAT ferry when our vehicle was

The house was amazing - we had a blast. Just
fantastic views, and all facilities in the house
did the trick, and made for an easy stay - i.e.
the BBQ, dishwasher, TV ect, all worked great
and were handy. It was great to be able to use
