Q/ How many people can Moreton Mansions accommodate?

A/ Island Dream Homes consists of four brand new homes we call Moreton Mansions. All have at least five large bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people (more if arranged in advance). This does not include bunks or fold out beds, each room has a luxury king size double bed or king size single beds.

Q/ What do Moreton Mansions consist of?

A/ Situated on the top of the beautiful Bayview Estate directly behind Tangalooma Resort the houses have all the modern conveniences including, air conditioning, dishwasher, pool table, spa bath, large kitchens, parents retreat and long wide balconies to maximise the amazing views.

All of the houses have breathtaking views of Moreton Bay, The Glasshouse Mountains and the surrounding Island.

Q/ When can we see the dolphins?

A/ The dolphins arrive at the Resort after dark each evening. In summer (November-February) the dolphins usually arrive at around 7pm. In winter (June-August) they normally arrive at around 6pm. The feed session usually starts around 30 minutes after the dolphins arrive and continues for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Q/ When is Whale Watching season?

A/ The whale-watching season runs from mid June to the end of October each year. The Tangalooma Resort operates Whale Watching Cruises during migration season, (approx mid June to end of October), 7 days a week.  Lunch is provided on board. The cruise departs from the resort daily.

A/ Travel time from Holt Street Wharf to Tangalooma Resort is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Q/ Is there an ATM machine for international credit cards?

A/ ATM facilities are available for most major cards.

Q/ Can I bring my boat to Moreton Island when I stay with Island Dream Homes?

A/ You sure can, just anchor up in front of the houses.

Q/ We are coming from overseas, how do we get to Moreton Isalnd?

A/ We will arrange a transfer from Brisbane airport that will take you to the Holt Street Terminal where you will depart for Moreton on a luxury Flyer.
